Abstract

As the boundaries between finance, fashion, and digital infrastructure continue to blur, a new paradigm is emerging—one where identity, value, and authenticity are encoded, exchanged, and verified across interoperable ecosystems. This talk explores how technologies such as digital product passports (DPP), decentralized identifiers (DIDs), and NFC-based access systems are reshaping the way we manage information, trace ownership, and ensure transparency beyond financial markets.

A key focus is the role of these technologies in advancing sustainability and circularity—particularly in industries like fashion, where traceability and verification are essential for combating counterfeiting, enabling resale, and ensuring ethical production. This presentation envisions a future where digital trust frameworks serve not just financial efficiency, but also environmental integrity, ethical design, and social transparency—bridging FinTech with the urgent demands of the real world.
