Abstract

AI and Cybersecurity at the Crossroads of International Business: Emerging Risks and Opportunities for Global Trade: The rapid convergence of AI, cybersecurity, and new digital technologies is changing how international commerce and trade work. As supply chains become more digital, AI-powered systems are now key to improving efficiency, making logistics more predictable, and making it easier to share data across borders. However, these improvements also create new flaws that put global companies at danger of cyberattacks, theft of intellectual property, and problems with important trade infrastructures. This paper examines the impact of technologies such as quantum computing, blockchain-based contracts, and federated AI on the foundation of competitive advantage and the strain they impose on current legal frameworks. The investigation shows both chances, such speedier trade finance, automated compliance, and better risk forecasting, and problems, like trade disputes that are made possible by cybercrime and growing digital protectionism. The results show that the long-term growth of international commerce will depend on improving cybersecurity governance, using quantum-resistant protections, and making global policies work together to preserve digital trade. In this way, the meeting of AI and cybersecurity is not only changing technology itself, but also changing the laws of global trade for the future.
