Dr. Omid Akbarzadeh Pivehzhani is a research scientist at Texas A&M University specializing in catalysis, nanomaterials, and CO? conversion for the oil and gas industry. With over 15 years of academic and industrial experience, he has worked on major projects with PETRONAS and Airbus, and held positions at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and University of Malaya. He holds two international patents, has published extensively, and received multiple research awards. Dr. Akbarzadeh is also an active member of international engineering societies and has collaborated globally in research and teaching.
His main research areas are heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, catalytic reaction engineering, nanocatalyst synthesis, nanomaterials characterization, CO2 conversion, and gas process
