Abstract
Marine Future 2025: Pioneering Aquaculture Innovations for Sustainable Marine Ecosystems
Marine Future 2025, a premier international conference, convenes global experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders to advance aquaculture innovations and marine ecosystem sustainability. Amid escalating challenges such as climate change, overfishing, and pollution, this event serves as a vital platform for exploring cutting-edge research and sustainable solutions to safeguard marine resources. Key topics include: (1) Next-Generation Aquaculture Technologies, spotlighting innovations like recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) and offshore farming to minimize environmental footprints; (2) Climate-Resilient Marine Ecosystems, addressing adaptive strategies for species and habitats facing rising temperatures and ocean acidification; (3) Combating Overfishing Through Sustainable Practices, evaluating integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA) and regulatory frameworks to restore fish stocks; and (4) Pollution Mitigation, focusing on bioremediation techniques and waste management to reduce aquaculture’s ecological impact. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, Marine Future 2025 aims to drive actionable, science-based solutions that harmonize the growth of aquaculture with the conservation of marine ecosystems, ensuring a sustainable future for global seafood production and biodiversity.
