The physics and mathematics of mutual shielding
Taking into account the size of the mass-forming elements - nucleons and the systems consisting of them - atomic nuclei, as well as their mutual spatial overlap, the existence of gravitational shielding is justified. A mathematical formula for the mutual shielding of micro- and macro-objects is proposed. On a causal basis, it is shown that gravitational shielding is the cause of the anomaly of the diurnal change in gravity, precession of the perihelion of Mercury, inaccuracies in determining the mass and density of large planets (low values), features of tidal processes, as well as a mass defect in the microcosm. It is noted that the cause of the perihelion precession of the artificial Earth satellites Lageos 1 and Lageos 2 is also the gravitational shielding of the Earth. It is shown that gravitational shielding depends on the thickness of physical objects and begins to manifest itself at a thickness of about 5000 km. It is concluded that the Moon is unable to exhibit gravitational shielding due to insufficient thickness. It is shown that the phenomenon of mass defect is a manifestation of gravitational shielding in the microcosm. It is shown that there is a commonality between the gravitational and nuclear interactions, the consequence of which is the same argument in their description – mass. This work is a development of the kinetic theory of gravity of Le Sage, taking into account the planetary structure of the atom and the size of mass-forming particles. It is noted that modern physics - quantum physics, relativity theories and other approaches - cannot describe the phenomena of gravitational shielding, since elementary particles are considered as material points within their framework. The material points have zero size and cannot shield each other.
