Abstract

Optimizing the Technical and Economic Feasibility of a Large-Scale Wind-Photovoltaic Hybrid System for Green Energy Transition

This lecture explores the design and optimization of a large-scale wind-photovoltaic hybrid energy system, focusing on accelerating the transition to green energy. It integrates Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA), and Virtual Reality (VR) to assess the technical, economic, and environmental viability of the system. GIS combined to the machine learning identify optimal locations for wind turbines and solar panels, while MCDA evaluates and ranks sites based on factors like resource availability and environmental impact. VR provides an immersive view of the project to engage stakeholders. Environmental considerations, such as carbon emissions reduction and ecosystem preservation, are central to the research.
