Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication at Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering (BVCOE), New Delhi. Holding a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, her research from 2018 to 2023 focused on MAC layer issues in Optical Wireless Communication. With over 17 years of teaching experience, Dr. Bhutani possesses expertise in Optical Wireless Communications, Visible Light Communications, Wireless Sensors, Machine Learning, and IoT.
Contributing actively to academia, she has published two books, undertaken research projects at IIT Delhi, and authored publications, earning several awards, including five Best Researcher Awards. She secured a national patent for the "Students’ Behaviour Monitoring Device," granted in January 2024. With over 40 research publications in international journals, conferences, and books, she has contributed substantially to more than 30
national/international conferences as Conference Chair, Technical Committee Member and Reviewer. Beyond her teaching duties, Dr. Bhutani holds leadership roles as the Head of IEEE BVCOE and the Secretary for IEEE SB DS Councillor's Forum. She has played a pivotal role in organizing events to enhance students' academic and professional growth and serves on the editorial board of the Science Journal of Electrical and Electronics Communication. Her commitment to student development is evident through her active involvement in organizing workshops, webinars, and guest lectures, showcasing a dedicated passion for fostering innovation and skill development.
