Abstract
Building Scalable and Resilient Smart Systems for Critical Applications
The rapid proliferation of smart computing technologies has redefined how critical applications operate, driving efficiency, intelligence, and scalability. However, as these systems become integral to industries such as healthcare, finance, transportation, and energy, ensuring their scalability and resilience is paramount. This session explores the challenges and strategies for designing and deploying scalable, resilient smart systems capable of supporting critical, high-stakes operations.
Key focus areas include the architectural principles underpinning smart systems, the integration of cloud and edge computing for dynamic scalability, and the use of AI and machine learning for predictive maintenance and adaptive resilience. The session also addresses fault tolerance, real-time data processing, and cybersecurity considerations essential for mitigating risks in mission-critical environments. By highlighting case studies and practical implementation frameworks, attendees will gain actionable insights to build robust systems that deliver consistent performance, adapt to increasing demands, and remain operational in the face of unpredictable disruptions.
