  • Investigating the antimicrobial role of Dual Oxidase 1 and Myeloperoxidase in infectious diseases.
  • Moving forward National Institute of Health-funded R01, R21 grants (generating and analyzing data, drafting annual progress reports, writing grants and papers, presenting data at local, national, and international meetings.
  • Training and teaching undergraduate and graduate students, research technicians, and postdocs.
  • Co-coordinating Immunology Journal Club, teaching Advanced Immunology (the inflammasome in infectious and autoimmune diseases) course to graduate students in Infectious Diseases
