AFP-Producing Gastric Cancer (GC) and other Digestive Diseases-Related
This special type GC is characterized by its aggressive biological behaviors such as a high incidence of venous invasion, lymphatic invasion, liver metastasis. Further features of AFP-producing GC were identified including the associations among various peripheral biomarkers. Recently, our research group investigated the role of NOX4 gene expression in the gastric cancer and the effect of its modulation on ferroptosis-inducing treatment. The ongoing studies on GC with both expression of AFP and CEA is being accomplished and we will get them published in the future. Besides, past researches on liver regeneration and liver cancer were successfully performed by us.
