Dr.Marwah Salah Abdullah is an active recent dental professional graduate and an active volunteer with clinical expertise and contributions to dental science. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Gulf Medical University in the United Arab Emirates, earning recognition for her outstanding performance throughout her academic journey, including graduating with excellence. During her dental internship at Thumbay Dental Hospital,
Dr.Marwah demonstrated exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to patient care, earning her the prestigious **Excellence Clinical Award** at the conclusion of her internship year (2023-2024). Her passion for research and innovation was further highlighted when she won **first place in the 'Science by Students' category** at the CAPP Middle East Dentistry Awards. She presented a poster titled *"Mind Games: Humans vs. AI in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery"*, co-authored with Omar Mohamed Shawkey and supervised by esteemed faculty members,
Dr. Sabrin Ali Azim and Dr. Mohammed Shoaib. This achievement underscored her ability to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and human expertise in dental practice. Dr.Marwah's research endeavors include publishing an article titled *"Inverted Maxillary Third Molar Impaction: Exploring Capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Versus Human Intelligence (HI) Expertise in Diagnosis and Treatment Planning"* in the Open Access Journal of Dental Sciences. Additionally, she conducted a cross-sectional study at Thumbay Dental Hospital on patient satisfaction with dental services provided by interns, comparing her findings with global studies published in leading dental journals. Dr.Marwah is an active participant in professional events and volunteer initiatives. She has attended renowned conferences like AEEDC as an official poster presenter and the Apollonia Research Symposium in Abu Dhabi as a study presenter. Her dedication to service was evident when she volunteered at the United Nations pavilion during Expo 2020 in Dubai, where she facilitated engaging and educational experiences for visitors. Recently, she also volunteered as an organizer for the WOW Congress at Thumbay Medcity.
