Abstract
Healthcare of cancer patients in the light of Distributive justice:
Wealth is unequally distributed in the world. Some nations are rich and flourishing, many others are struggling to provide the requisite health care for cancer patients. This disparity is man made. It raises numerous moral and ethical concerns and questions.
Medicine without medical ethics is akin to cancer management without a registry or mother without motherhood.
Western medical ethics teaches the 4 cardinal rules namely Autonomy , Beneficince Non malificence and Justice.
In my presentation I'd like to focus on the role and impact of Justice in provision of healthcare in cancer patients , in the light of Distributive Justice, discussing the principles of Equality v/s Equity and relevant matters.
