Abstract

Presentation Abstract on AI in Penetration Testing In the evolving landscape of cybersecurity, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into penetration testing is transforming how organizations identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities. This will explores the role of AI-driven techniques in enhancing the effectiveness, speed, and adaptability of proactive cybersecurity measures. Traditional penetration testing, while essential, often struggles to keep pace with the complexity and volume of modern threats. AI introduces a paradigm shift by enabling automated reconnaissance, intelligent vulnerability discovery, adaptive attack simulations, and continuous risk assessment. This presentation will highlight key AI methodologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and neural networks used to emulate attacker behavior, predict attack vectors, and prioritize threats based on risk context. It will also address the ethical and practical challenges of using AI in offensive security, including the risks of adversarial AI and false positives. Therefore, by examining real world applications and emerging research, this will provide cybersecurity professionals, researchers, and IT stakeholders with a comprehensive understanding of how AI is reshaping penetration testing and what this means for the future of proactive cyber defense.
