Biography

Pushkar Prashantrao Shinde is a Robotics Software Engineer with expertise in perception, computer vision, and autonomous systems. He holds an M.S. in Mechatronics & Robotics Engineering from New York University and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from KIT?s College of Engineering. He has worked with Saavor Inc., Apkudo (Dallas, TX), and Temple Allen Industries (Boeing Everett, Seattle), contributing to robotics perception, UAV control, and automation systems. Pushkar has also led robotics initiatives as President of the IIT-Bombay affiliated Robotics Club and has participated in international engineering competitions.

Research Interest

research interests focus on robot perception, computer vision, and autonomous systems, with particular emphasis on UAV dynamics and control (PX4, LQR, iLQR). I am keen on advancing methods in SLAM, localization, and path planning for intelligent navigation, while also exploring the use of reinforcement learning and machine learning in robotics. Additionally, I work on sensor fusion, calibration, and real-time embedded systems, integrating these with ROS/ROS2 and mechatronic design to develop robust and intelligent robotic solutions
