Abstract
"THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) IN MEDICAL AND HEALTH SECTOR"
The field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was first conceptualized by John McCarthy in 1956. Today, AI is transforming the medical and health sector by enhancing diagnostics, drug discovery, personalized treatment, and operational efficiency. AI algorithms can analyze medical images with high accuracy to identify subtle anomalies, leading to faster and more accurate diagnoses for conditions like cancer. AI also accelerates drug discovery by identifying potential drug targets and optimizing drug design. Furthermore, AI-powered wearable technology and remote monitoring systems enable continuous health oversight and provide patients with personalized information
