Abstract
"Advancing Autonomous Mobility Through V2X Communication and Intelligent Transportation Systems"
The advancement of autonomous vehicle technology is closely linked with innovations in intelligent transportation systems. This presentation focuses on the critical role of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication, which facilitates direct and indirect exchanges of information between vehicles, infrastructure, pedestrians, and networks. Such connectivity enables safer driving decisions, reduced traffic congestion, and improved situational awareness.
The talk will explore how V2X systems integrate with modern technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, 5G communication, and Edge Computing to support real-time, low-latency operations essential for autonomous navigation. Additionally, practical considerations including deployment challenges, interoperability, and security implications will be addressed. The session aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how V2X is driving the evolution toward smarter and more connected transportation infrastructures.
