Dr. Barry I. Gold is a pharmacologist with a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Cincinnati, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Boston University, and postdoctoral training at Yale University. He has served as an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and held senior positions in biochemistry and project management within major pharmaceutical companies, including Wyeth-Ayerst and Knoll Pharmaceuticals. After retiring from the industry, he became an author, publishing three books and several essays.
